Powered/unpowered Sites

Birdsville Tourist Park offers 84 easy-to-access powered sites with water. There are sites suitable for even the largest of rigs, motor-homes, coaches and fifth-wheelers. Our unpowered sites are spread over 30 acres. From drive-through sites for larger rigs and caravans to sites for campervans and tents, their great sites offer first-class camping facilities and amenities to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. Most of the time, you can choose where you’d like to set up, although it is very busy around the time of the Birdsville Races.

Drive-through sites are unavailable during event periods.

The Birdsville Tourist Park also has two, three and five berth en-suited cabins which are perfect for family escapes or groups.

The five berth cabins include two air-conditioned rooms, fully self-contained, en-suite, stove, oven, one double bed and one single bed in the main room and two single beds in the second room. Linen is included.

The three-berth cabins suit smaller families or twin share accommodation. They are fully self-contained, have an en-suite, one double bed and one single bed (linen included), stove and oven.

The two berth cabins are ideal for a couple or solo travellers. They are fully self-contained and have an en-suite, one double bed (linen included), stove and oven.

The motel-style units are ideal for backpackers or budget-conscious travellers. They are a motel-style “outback” air-conditioned room. They have two single beds or one double bed and one single bed (linen included), bar fridge, coffee-making facilities, television and full use of the camp kitchen. They do not have an en-suite but modern caravan park facilities are close-by.
