Birdsville
Birdsville Hotel – Motel Accommodation
Iconic Outback pub offering hotel rooms, great meals and legendary hospitality. After tackling the Birdsville Track, unwind in one of the Hotel’s modern, air-conditioned motel units with private bathrooms — perfect for reviving body and spirit.
With 27 units available, catering for singles, couples and families, plus guest laundry facilities, it’s a comfortable base in the heart of Birdsville.
Birdsville Lodge
A 49-room accommodation complex in the heart of Birdsville, located beside the Birdsville Hotel and opposite the Birdsville Airport. Fully ensuited rooms are available in single, double and twin configurations, offering comfortable, budget-friendly accommodation. Check-in is via the Birdsville Hotel reception desk.
Birdsville Tourist Park
Offering air-conditioned budget units, fully self-contained and deluxe cabins, plus 84 powered sites and 30 acres of spacious unpowered camping, Birdsville Tourist Park overlooks the beautiful Birdsville Billabong. Enjoy relaxed Outback Queensland camping with stunning water views and plenty of room to spread out.
Free camping is available on the Birdsville Town Common.
Bedourie
Bedourie Tourist Park offers 10 powered sites and over 100 unpowered sites. Bookings are not required – check in at the Bedourie Outback Visitor Information Centre. Pets welcome.
Simpson Desert Oasis has air-conditioned motel-style units, powered and unpowered camping facilities, with a restaurant and roadhouse for fuel and food.
The Royal Hotel offers drinks, food and accommodation in its hotel rooms.
Betoota
Betoota Hotel offers hotel rooms, camping quarters, and camping grounds with shared amenities.
Please note: The Betoota Hotel is closed in the Summer months.
Camping is available at the Betoota Racetrack during selected events.
